The Lady Vikings bowling team competed this past Saturday at the Jim Shaw Challenge Tournament and brought home an outstanding 2nd-place finish. The Varsity squad was led by Paige McDorman, who rolled an impressive 524 three-game series, followed closely by Peyton Hendrix with a 523 series and Alyssa rounding out the scoring with a strong 521 series. All three Lady Vikings also swept the Top 3 individual finishes, with Paige earning 1st place, Peyton 2nd, and Alyssa 3rd overall. The JV girls also had a strong showing, advancing out of individual play and earning the 3rd seed heading into bracket competition. Their effort was led by Rachel Foss, who posted a 448 three-game series, followed by Danika Ooten with a 414 series. The JV squad fought hard but was ultimately eliminated in the Final Four of bracket play. In addition, Rachel Foss earned a 7th-place finish in the girls individual standings. Great work by all of our Lady Vikings for their performance, determination, and representation of our school!
