In a game that saw two team hungry for a win, fans got what they came to see. The Vikings battled the Tigers to the end in losing a tough 78-73 decision. The Vikings jumped out to an early four point lead before the Tigers closed the period on a six point run and lead 18-14. The second period saw both teams trade baskets in an offensive outburst, seeing each team score 22 points in the period. The third period saw the Vikings take a slim 1 point lead only to trail 58-54 after three periods. The fourth saw much of the same as both teams traded baskets and stops. With 1:20 left in the game, the Vikings held a 1 point lead. The TIgers were able to get a couple of defensive stops down the stretch and made their free throws to seal the OCC Buckeye Division victory.
