TV Men's and Women's Win Chillicothe Relays

The Teays Valley Track and Field team won both sides of the Chillicothe Relay meet on Saturday, March 28th. The women's team won by scoring over 100 points. The men's team won their meet by scoring 91 points. On the men's side, the team of Carsen Cordes, Noah Nabarrette, De'Vaughn Railey, and Dylan Stiffler won the 4 x 100 M. relay with a time of 44.74. Colin Carvel, Kellan Durbin, Brayden Fraley, and Logan Moore won the 4 x 1600 with a time of 21:00. The men's team also received assistance from the pole vault relay and the combined efforts of Rylan Shaver (9'6"), Ethan Rohrbacher (9'0"), and Zach Zimmer (7'0"). For the women, three distinct categories of athletes led the way. Kennedy Tietz, Cami Myers, and Layla Diamond won both the discus and shotput relays, with Kennedy winning both events (112'9" and 31'11", respectively). The women also won both sprint relays, the 4 x 100 (Paige Baker,Katelyn Blaney, Kenzie Nou, Skylar Vandegrift-53.45) and 4 x 200 (Paige Baker, Harper Banks, Abby Henderson, and Raelynn McGrath-1:52.56). They also won both mid-distance relays, the 4 x 400 (Harper Banks, Lily Gaal, Abby Henderson, and Skylar Vandegrift-4:17.56) and the 4x800 (Iris Ardrey, Iris Lanas Garcia, Miley Maxwell, and Bailie Peters-12:20.91).
