The Teays Valley Women's Team won the Pick North Tri on Wednesday, May 6th, while the Men's team took 3rd to both Pickerington North and Canal Winchester. The women won the meet with 90 points, while the men finished with 39 points. Pick North won the men's meet with 70 points, and came in 2nd on the women's side with 62 points. For the men, Noah Hilgenberg won the open 400, with a time of 53.69. They also finished first in three relays-the 4 x 200 (Caiden Blackburn, Carsen Cordes, De'Vaughn Railey, and Dylan Stiffler-1:33.77), the 4 x 400 (Xavier Clay, Brayden Fraley, Torin Scarpill, and James West-3:46.72), and the 4x800 (Xavier Clay, Ian Duncan, Brayden Fraley, and Logan Moore-8:51.03) For the women, Grace Thanasack won the 800 in 2:27.68. The team won both hurdles, with Raelynn McGrath winning the 100 hurdles-16.36, and Maria Knupp winning the 300 hurdles-1:01.25. In Field events, Kennedy Tietz scored wins in both the shotput and the discus (98'2" and 29'5", respectively), Audrey Henson won the long jump (14'5"), and Lila Merritt won the high jump (4'10"). The Vikings also won three relays-the 4 x 100 (Paige Baker, Avery Hannigan, Maria McAndrew, and Kenzie Nou-52.28), the 4x200 (Paige Baker, Harper Banks, Avery Hannigan, and Abby Henderson-1:50.78), and the 4 x 800 (Riley Herbert, Iris Lanas Garcia, Miley Maxwell, and Bethany Wickline-11:23.32).
