Men and Women Compete at Bradley Invitational

The Teays Valley Men's and Women's Track teams competed at the Bradley Invitational on Friday. The women came in 5th, with 99.5 points, while the men came in 7th with 49.5 points. Lancaster High School won the meet with 166.5 points on the men's side, and 123 points on the women's side. The Viking Men were led by the 4x400 meter relay of Caiden Blackburn, Xavier Clay, Noah Hilgenberg, and Logan Moore, who took 2nd in a time of 3:32.27. The 4x100 relay (Carsen Cordes, Noah Nabarrette, De'Vaughn Railey, and Dylan Stiffler-44.15) and 4 x 200 relay (Caiden Blackburn, Carsen Cordes, De'Vaughn Railey, and Dylan Stiffler) both managed to take 3rd place. Caiden Blackburn paced all individuals with a 3rd place in the 400 (52.24) For the women, Reese Galinger paced the way with a win in the 3200 in 10:57.68. Addie Keplar took 2nd in the 1600 in a time of 5:25.61. The Vikings also had two 2nd place in the sprints, with Paige Baker in the 100 (12.74) and Avery Hannigan in the 200 (26.78). Also, with a 4th place finish, Paige Baker, Avery Hannigan, Maria McAndrew, and Kenzie Nou set the new 4x100 record-51.22. Field events, the 4x800 final, and sprint qualifying will take place on Wednesday, while all other running finals will take place on Friday.
