On a great day for golf the Viking golf team was up to the challenge, firing yet another record score of 297 at the Players Club in the TV Invitational. The score was good enough to finish second behind Roger Bacon - 295, and set the school record for the second time in as many days. The Vikings were led by tournament Medalist Deacon Kroeger - 71, followed by All Tournament Team player Landon Sturgell - 72, Trent Hicks followed with a 76, Will Griffith with a 78 and Noah Hilgenberg and Jack Mawhorr each with 83. The Vikings earn some time off until Tuesday when they travel to The Virtues Invitational hosted by Newark Catholic and Licking Valley.
