The Viking golfers traveled to Beavercreek Golf Club to play in the 16 Team Beavercreek Invitational. The Vikings fired a 297 on the hot, muggy day to finish 2nd overall by one shot. The 297 was significant as it ties the school record for low team score, set earlier this season. Landon Sturgell and Deacon Kroeger lead the way with a pair of 72s, which landed them on the All Tournament team. Followed closely by Noah Hilgenberg with a 73 and Trent Hicks and Parker Wilcox each with an 80. The Vikings are in action again on Saturday at Worthington Hills CC in the Worthington Invitational.
