The Viking golfers shot a 301 today in the OHSAA Division 1 Sectional Golf Tournament at Turnberry Golf Course. The Vikings finished in 2nd place on the day, earning them a spot in the Division 1 District Tournament next Tuesday at Apple Valley. This is the first team to advance to District play since the 2012 team. Deacon Kroeger paced the Vikings with an even par 72. Senior Noah Hilgenberg carded a 75 on the day followed by Landon Sturgells 76 and Trent Hicks 78. Parker Wilcox rounded out the scoring with a 87. The Vikings will travel to Apple Valley on Tuesday with a chance to advance to the State Tournament.
