Teays Valley High School’s boys’ cross country team was among the 17 teams who competed at the Pickerington North XC Classic today. The 12th-place finish, 269 team points, reflects a solid effort in a deep field of 222 runners. Senior Logan Moore’s top-35 performance set the tone, while the remaining scoring Vikings ran strong. The tight pack included seniors Colin Carvel and Brayden Fraley, sophomore Xavier Clay and junior CJ Jett. Junior Clark Thompson and senior Nolan Lupfer provided depth. Sophomores Kellan Durbin and Ian Duncan, as well as freshman Colton Whitt, showed promise for the future. The contributions of seniors Torin Scarpill and Luke Little, alongside sophomores Navin Warner and Levi Little, highlighted the team’s mix of experience and youth, holding their own against strong programs like Marysville, St. Charles, and DeSales. Coach Lupfer was delighted with the team results as his runners showed determination and teamwork, with several athletes posting times under 20 minutes, signaling a promising start to the season.
