Teays Valley High School Athletics

The Varsity Football team traveled to Lancaster to open up the OCC season and came away with a 34-17 victory, to start OCC play at 1-0. Peter Graham started the scoring off with a 9 yd rushing touchdown, then Calvin Videkovich added a 26 yd field goal to make it 9-0 at the end of the first quarter. Lancaster then scored on a rushing touchdown to make it 9-7. Brady Farmer connected with Cavin Mcdowell on a 34 yd pass and the extra point made it 16-7. Lancaster would score on a 5 yd pass play and the extra point to make it 16-14 at halftime. From there on out it was all Teays Valley. Teays Valley made the most of their possessions in the 2nd outscoring Lancaster 21-0. Tommy Kozlowski took an interception from a tipped pass into the endzone and the extra point made it 23-14. Spike Woods would then have a 3yd rushing touchdown and the extra point making the score 30-14. In the 4th quarter Tommy Kozlowski would then haul in a 20 yd pass from Brady Farmer and the extra point made the score 37-14.
