Fall and Spring Athletes Offseason Strength and Conditioning
By Aaron Woollard | Oct 30, 2025 12:43 PM
From TVHS Strength and Conditioning Coach Josh McDanel: Offseason strength & conditioning for fall and winter athletes will begin on Monday, November 3rd. Any non-winter athlete should be attending these workouts, especially if they have never lifted before, as these next 6 weeks of workouts will focus on teaching our lifts and training system to prepare our athletes for the more intense off-season training block that starts in January. It will be extremely challenging for offseason athletes to start working out in January if they miss these next 6-7 weeks, as those workouts will be focused upon building on the work done in November and December. Our program is designed to be a 3 day a week program... attending 2 days a week will make athletes better, attending three days a week will make prepare them to reach milestones they've never thought possible. The schedule from November 3rd to December 19th will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 4:40 pm in the TVHS weightroom. All are invited to attend. If you have any questions, please contact Josh McDanel at jmcdanel@tvsd.us.
